Wood Acres is a community located in Bethesda, MD commonly described as a "throw-back neighborhood" which comes from its enthusiasm for community and tradition. Most houses in Wood Acres were built between 1939 and 1959 and have never been replaced in respect to architectural covenants by the Wood Acres Citizens Association. Conveniently just 5 minutes from the Westbard shopping center, 10 minutes from the Spring Valley shopping center and just a short ride up River Road and the Beltway to the Westfield Mall.
