PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
After graduating from college, Carol worked for a mid-west commercial real estate appraisal firm that served a 20-state area. Over 40 years ago she moved to Washington, D.C., to become a staff assistant to U.S. Senator Richard Lugar. This led to Carol's becoming the assistant manager and then manager of The Blair House, the guest house for the President of the United States. In that capacity, Carol oversaw the day-to-day operations of this 115-room complex of four connecting historic houses and met regularly with heads of government, chiefs of state, ambassadors and embassy officials. After eight years at Blair House Carol redirected her career to residential real estate, joining the former Pardoe Real Estate and subsequently joining Washington Fine Properties.
