PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
A lifelong Washingtonian, Alison Lockwood joined the Robert & Tyler Team at Washington Fine Properties in 2020 after a decade spent in the media industry.

Born in the District and raised just outside in Potomac, MD, her professional career began at Washington Life, a premier local luxury lifestyle magazine. In just a few years’ time, Alison climbed her way up the masthead to the position of Managing Editor of the monthly publication. After Washington Life, Alison was hired by U.S. News & World Report to serve as Senior Project Manager. Her portfolio included overseeing the launch of several ranking products, including: Healthiest Communities, Best States and Best Countries.

While the media and publishing world brought great adventures, Alison took a risk and decided to turn her long-standing passion for real estate into a professional opportunity. She was thrilled to accept the opportunity to join the Robert & Tyler Team at Washington Fine Properties. Alison is currently a licensed agent in DC and serves as the Robert & Tyler Team’s Operations Coordinator.

Alison and her husband currently live in the Observatory Circle neighborhood in Northwest.

EDUCATION:
B.A., Psychology, The George Washington University

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT PAST AND PRESENT:
Alison spent many years as a volunteer at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital and more recently as a member of the Friends Of program at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She and her husband are active supporters of the Wounded Warrior Project. As a member of Delta Gamma sorority, she has been very involved with the sorority’s philanthropic focus, Service of Sight.
