After graduating from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, Lauren joined Fleishman-Hillard, the world’s leading public relations firm. Two years later she re-directed her career from public relations to sales by joining PR Newswire, a global news distribution company, based in New York City. Lauren worked for four years in sales at PR Newswire and was honored as PR Newswire’s “Rookie of the Year” in 1998, followed by being recognized as the top salesperson in the Northeast Region in 1999.
In 2002 Lauren decided to continue her career in sales but redirected it to the real estate profession, teaming up with her mother, Sherry Davis, a top real estate broker in the Washington, D.C., and Bethesda, MD, markets. Lauren and Sherry formed the “Davis Team” at Washington Fine Properties, LLC.
