PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Upon completing a Bachelor of Science degree with accreditation as a high school teacher, Katie began a career in the health-care field, leading to a position as executive director of a national health care association. Deciding to follow a long-held dream, she entered art school, studying sculpture and ceramics and opened a studio with fellow artists. A developing interest in historic architecture later led Katie to residential real estate sales full-time in 1993.
