PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
After college, Jim began as an assistant to a bond
trader in a mortgage-backed securities firm. He
continued in the mortgage- backed market until
ultimately opening First Union’s Mortgage Lending
office in Washington, D.C., during which time he also
became a Fannie Mae underwriter, accredited Real
Estate Appraiser, and a Certified Instructor for the
Board of Realtors in Washington, D.C. Jim
redirected his career towards residential real estate
sales full-time in 2000.
